Is there a portable version of the software ? Is there any way to install it on a USB key ?

There is no portable version right now. Comfort Keys requires an installation. But you can install Comfort Keys on the flash card.

I was trying the application but when I just type, for example, " h " it immediately substitues with the template text. This can be very inconvenient because regular typing will throw up template entries simply because a combination of letters was typed and it might be a legitimate sequence for a word.

Can that be stopped in the application.

Simply remove in the options for Template Manager mark "Auto Replace".
